Mediaforta is currently looking for a proofreader/ editor-in-chief with an eye for detail and impeccable English. Specifically, we are looking for someone with more than five years of experience, a senior profile, who can swiftly review a text to identify content and language errors. You will work on a freelance basis, but you will be supported by the Mediaforta team.
What will be expected of you?
You have more than five years of relevant experience as a proofreader or editor-in-chief.You write fluently in English. Preferably, you are a native speaker.You have extensive experience with structural editing, copy-editing and proofreading of commercial material.You have an eye for detail, not only for language errors, but for content-related errors as well.You can stick to the client’s preferred tone of voice and writing style.You like to communicate transparently and welcome feedback.You deliver work meticulously and swiftly.You respect the negotiated deadlines.You work on a freelance basis.You are assertive and proactive, you are not afraid to voice your opinion about the material.You fit into our company culture.
