2. Humid rooms
Forgetting about the humidity of the room is another mistake people make.
The “ideal” winter humidity is between 45 percent – 50 percent. If the air is too dry, it will cause the tree to wither, in which case, use a humidifier to add moisture to the air.
Houseplants, drying clothes indoors, leaving the bathroom door open after showering and placing dishes of water near heat sources can also increase humidity.
