TXT’s Taehyun will be hosting his first web variety show!
On December 22, it was officially announced that TXT’s Taehyun will be the solo host of an upcoming web variety show titled “Story About Me: From Idol to Student in My Past Life – Academy Past Life” (literal title). The variety show is produced by SK Broadband.
In the upcoming show, Taehyun will personally visit and explore various academies related to education, hobbies, and sports in South Korea, offering both entertainment and informative content to viewers. With academies as its main focus, the show aims to evoke empathy from viewers of all ages. Adding a unique twist to the concept, Taehyun will assume the role of a male protagonist from a web novel who abruptly goes back to his past life.
An SK Broadband representative remarked, “Taehyun, whose exceptional skills and stage presence have captivated audiences both domestically and internationally, will showcase different and diverse charms in ‘Academy Past Life’ that differ from what he has shown on stage.”
