Purpose
The purpose for which we are processing your personal data is to share details of delegates with the venues hosting our in-person ‘introduction to the UK subsidy control regime’ events so that they can make appropriate arrangements such as security and catering.
We may also contact you for a short period after the events with any further updates regarding the subsidy control regime.
Legal basis of processing
The legal basis for processing your personal data is section 6(1)(e) of the Data Protection Act 2018. This processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.
It is important that these events are held to raise awareness and build understanding of the Subsidy Control Act 2022 amongst public authorities. The data needs to be shared with hosting venues .
Recipients
Your personal data will be shared by us with the venues hosting the event to which you have registered to attend. Details of the venue can be found on the registration pages for the events:
As your personal data will be stored on our IT infrastructure it will also be shared with our data processors Microsoft and Amazon Web Services.
Retention
Your personal data will be kept by us for a maximum of 3 months. This will enable us to provide the relevant venues with your information ahead of your scheduled event.
Venues will delete your personal data following the event.
We may contact you for a short period after the events with any further updates regarding the subsidy control regime.
