Travelex to offer marketing support to partners

Travelex Insurance Services has announced that it will provide its partners with marketing support to promote its travel insurance offerings. The programme will deliver a range of integrated marketing campaign materials on a quarterly basis, starting from this quarter.

Travelex works with a range of travel industry partners to offer coverage to customers. Notably, the insurance provider announced that it was celebrating the 25th anniversary of its preferred partner relationship with luxury travel firm Virtuoso this year. Travelex also announced a new partnership with Collette Travel Services in January.

According to Shannon Lofdahl, President and CEO of Travelex, the aim of the program is to provide ‘cohesive marketing materials’ that partners ‘of all sizes’ can use to effectively market travel insurance.

These materials will include digital display adverts of multiple sizes; print adverts in both monochrome and colour; a social media content calendar and graphics for regular posts; and an article and accompanying image for distribution to client lists. Travelex stated that at current ad agency rates, the value of the campaign materials will be equivalent to ‘several thousand dollars each quarter’.

“Often, we hear that time and budget resources are challenges for our partners,” she explained. “And the expense associated with developing creative assets can be costly, particularly for small businesses. We see this as an opportunity to leverage our team of talented, nimble marketers and provide our partners added value while saving them money.”
