New Research from LifeLearn: 2023 Veterinary Marketing Trends

The response from the veterinary community has been so amazing to see. We started with just 221 responses for our 2022 report and have already received responses from over 3,500 practices for next year’s report.

LifeLearn Animal Health, a national leader in veterinary practice marketing, communication, and education software has just announced that research is currently underway for its 2023 State of Veterinary Marketing Report. The LifeLearn State of Veterinary Marketing Report was launched in 2022 to better understand the current state of the animal health industry and the residual impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on practices across the country.

With pet owners increasingly turning online to find and research pet care providers, the 2022 report found that veterinary practices were following suit, to great success. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, mandatory closures, and client safety concerns, LifeLearn found that: 


51% of respondents reported annual practice revenue of over $1,000,000 in 2021. 
Despite soaring profits, staffing was ranked as top challenge for 78% of practices struggling to keep up with demand heading into 2022.
Responses from top performing practices who managed to achieve success while avoiding burnout revealed an early adopter mindset towards digital technology and automation in their practices.
