Filmed in the Alps, the show saw celebrities compete to build their own snowmen.

They were helped by a team of sculptors, engineers and snow builders to create their masterpieces.

Former Bake Off and Hitmen star Sue Perkins hosted the programme.

Since 2021 a special episode has aired in the Channel 4 schedule.

Website TVZone report the broadcaster hasn’t ruled out bringing the format back in the future.

The Sun has contacted Channel 4 for comment.

Last year’s Christmas special saw Gemma Collins arrive on the snowy alps in a fully pink attire.

She was joined by Gareth Malone, Melvin Odoom, Joe Thomas and Yinka Bokinni.

Gemma was tasked with carving an impressive unicorn statue out of snow as her first challenge on The Greatest Snowman.

However, she was seen struggling to get to grips with the challenge, as she complained it was “hard graft”.
