BBC Radio host Graham Liver just gave a listener a piece of his mind after they sent in an angry complaint about his show.

In the lengthy and critical message from the listener, they requested the 47-year-old presenter, who married his partner David in 2022, to stop being ‘so camp’.

Responding to the complaint, which he read out live on air, Graham responded by calling the listener a ‘bitch’.

The BBC Lancashire presenter was speaking this morning, when he read out the miffed message.

‘”You’re getting boring, your producer can’t think of anything fresh,”‘ Graham began, quoting the message.

‘”Also, the guy from Chorley isn’t the first person from Lancashire to go on The Apprentice, a guy called Adam went on it in the late 90s,”‘ he repeated for listeners.

“‘You need to do more research rather than talking about what you’ve been up to at the weekend, or what you’re doing in the next few days. Rant over. Thanks. Stop being so camp,”‘ he finished, pausing before voicing his reaction.

‘Ooo. You bitch,’ Graham quipped back, as laughter erupted in the background.

Full of amusement at the message, the broadcaster tried to continue, saying, ‘I don’t know what you mean… What a, what a… ‘ before he broke off, laughing at the ridiculousness of the situation.

Fans of the show were quick to point out that The Apprentice actually began in 2005, much later than the critical listener suggested.

In beautiful internet poetry, The Apprentice’s Adam – the contestant from the angry listener’s imagined series of the 1990s – even commented on the viral X post which featured the audio clip.
