Thanks for the answer. That is what I would have thought, but I’m only a customer, not a host/provider. I don’t know what to say when the host says they can’t restore a backup. I sometimes get the sense the problem is restoring into an existing account. It seems sometimes once you upload the backup, the best (correct?) way is to delete the provisioned account and then create an account from the backup? – I am looking for tips to help hosts in the future, as I’m currently sitting on two cPanel backups now.
