The women’s arm of club are looking to appoint someone to manage their Under-23s side, taking on the role of lead coach.

They will be responsible for all on-field matters, including the development of the U23s players and staff.

The individual will be supported by club chairman Qasim Akhtar with meeting the on-field targets set at the start of the season (flexible ones that may be subject to change), ensuring the club continues to progress.

In addition to opportunities with the U23s, the individual will work very closely with the first team manager and staff, supporting the development of the U23s into the first team environment where possible.

A detailed description of the role and its requirements and necessary qualifications can be found via this Google Document.

Meanwhile, the men’s team, led by Mark Hughes, are on the lookout for a digital content manager.

As a member of the club’s media and marketing department, the successful candidate will work to deliver creative and innovative digital content to help grow and engage with the club’s audience.

The role requires a creative and highly-organised individual with strong project management and communication skills. They will take responsibility for City’s digital content, ensuring it aligns with the club’s brand image.

Running the official YouTube channel, contributing towards City’s e-mail marketing output and creating and editing digital content, such as videos and imagery, are also essential parts of the role.

The closing date for applications is tomorrow (February 24), while a more detailed description of the job essentials and qualifications can be found here.

Interviews will take place in the coming weeks.
